Tour De Hunza
The best thing happened in 2020 for me, we went to Hunza
Valley. So here, I am going to share my sudden tour story. We had got bore with
this boring lockdown and suddenly I watched a post of tour to hunza from travel
agency then we convinced our parent for going to this trip and finally after
two days of efforts our parent said YES then we started to pack our bags and
finally the day was come which we were waiting for. Firstly, we went Lahore and
we choosed the journey by train because we wanted to enjoy each and every moment
of our journey and this was not possible without train. We stayed in Lahore for 2
days and 1 night then we met with travel agency on 16th November 2020 at 12am.
From here, our trip was started. We took our short stop over at Islamabad
Motorway for almost 45 minutes. Firstly, we reached Pattan at 7.30am then we
went Chilas, we had got tired so much because we were on long road trip way
from 21 hours. So, we stayed in night in
hotel and next morning we took off for HUNZA. On our way, we explored Three
Mountain Junction. That place was really so amazing and wonderful then we went Rakaposhi
point view. That place was absolutely beautiful and we saw snowfall on the peak
of mountain that view was really so Haseen. We took pictures there and took off
for Hunza, Altit fort. The views at every turn were so stunning. It was a
completely different experience when you drive through the mountains along the
karakoram highway. This region is so beautiful and the pictures really don’t do
it justice. Just know that if the pictures look impressive, its more than ten
times picturesque in real life. We stayed at the Hunza Serena Inn, the
beautiful view from our hotel of the surrounding valley, a gorgeous,
mesmerizing view of Baltit fort in the distance and mountains everywhere like a
scenery. In the Night, there were none of the noise, and pollution like big
cities, the clean roads, the cold fresh air, the clear skies were full of
stars.
Hunza, Altit fort
On the way to Hunza, Altit fort. The roads were absolutely beautiful. The view was totally so mesmerizing especially in autumn you can see the real beauty of Hunza and then we reached to Altit fort. We went to Royal Garden Hunza. You can see so beautiful view there which you can see in dreams or in movies with artificial effects, but this was real!!! The view of Royal Garden Hunza was so mesmerising and it totally looked like scenery but this was real! Then we went to Karimabad Bazaar, Hunza. We purchased Dry fruits and then we went Cafe de Hunza. We ate their famous Walnut Cake; it was really so yummy. Cafe de Hunza is located in Karimabad Bazar, Hunza. After eting walnut cake, we went to take hunza traditional soup "Dou Do". It was so delicious and really so different from other soup. After taking soup, we came back to our hotel and after 2 hours, we took dinner and after dinner we fell asleep.
Next morning, we went to Attabad lake. The weather was hunza was -4 C and literally we were shivering there. Pakistan has really beautiful and heavenly places and Attabad lake is just a glimpse of it. We did boating there and explores the blue water lake and majestic mountain. We enjoyed a lot there. We took pictures there. After boating, we purchased french fries from there and enjoyed fries with coffee because the weather was so cold.
Passu Cones
After Attabad lake, we went to Passu cones. These particular
mountains are known as Passu cones due to their conical shape. And it soars to
an elevation of 20,033 ft (6,106 m) which is the highest point in the area.
Locals know this mountain as Tupopdan, which roughly translates to ''Mouthful
of Sun Mountain'', or ''Sun-Swallowing Mountain''. It has also been called the
Passu Cathedral as the mountain appears to have many spires that reach skyward.
The jagged appearance of mountain peaks is generally an
indication of a young mountain range, but the Passu cones, which are the part
of the Karakarom Mountains) emerged sometimes between 105 million years ago and
35 million years ago, making them approximately the same age as the North
American Rocky Mountains.
The peaks tower 4,101 ft (1,250 m) above the scenic Upper Hunza Valley in northern Pakistan. The valley is known for its grand, sweeping views of breathtaking lakes and rivers bordered by soaring mountains. Visitors travel to the region via the Karakarom highway which offers unprecedented views of the region's incredible geology and landscape. But it's no wonder why the passu cones are the most photographed peaks in the Upper Hunza Valley.
Hussaini Suspension Bridge
After passu cones, we went to Hussaini Suspension Bridge. Hussaini suspension bridge is one of the most dangerous bridge in the worls, the hussaini Suspension bridge is only one of many precious tope bridges in Northern Pakistan. The background mountain peaks are a Passu cones or Passu Cathedral, a set of hreat mountain peaks (more than 6,000 meters). The Sun-Drenched Mountain", also known as Passu Cathedral. Passu is famous for its golden peaks in the form of pyramidical shape known as, "Passu Cones" or Passu Cathedral.
